GREAT HORNED OWLET

Have you ever stared into the eyes of an owlet? Great horned owlets, also known as tiger owls or hoot owls, are large owls native to the Americas.

Long-eared owl

This is the expression of an owl as he searches for a morning meal while also being concerned about hundreds of photographers in the area.

OSPREY

After hitting the water and grabbing the fish, the Osprey needs to get airborne again. There are tales of weak and hungry Osprey's being dragged to the bottom, unable to release the fish or lift off from the water successfully. But this male is strong and those long curved claws are for an unbreakable bond.

BARN OWLs

If you look carefully you might be able to see my reflection in the eyes of this barn owl.

BURROWING OWL

Burrowing Owls are small, sandy colored owls with bright-yellow eyes. They live underground in burrows they’ve dug themselves or taken over from a prairie dog, ground squirrel, or tortoise.
